Experience A minimum of 3 years appropriate experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Clinical Technologist: Critical Care. Inherent Requirements After‑hour service is compulsory. Valid driver’s license. Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council (HPCSA) as a Clinical Technologist: Critical Care. Competencies (knowledge/skills) Good communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to work within a group at all levels of authority. Must be able to work under pressure. Capable of maintaining confidentiality. Good computer skills in MS Word and Excel. Duties (key result areas/outputs) Optimal patient care. Equipment resource management. Human resource management. Troubleshooting of equipment. Maintenance of equipment. Training of staff. Registration with a Professional Council Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as a Clinical Technologist: Critical Care. Remuneration Grade 1: R 598 260 – R 664 410 per annum. Annual salary plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer's contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance). Starting Date 5/8/2026 Shortlisted Candidates Assessment Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to a practical assessment. Notice to Candidates Candidates must comply with the advertised appointment requirements of the post by the closing date and time of the advert. Candidates may be subjected to a competency test.
