Re-Advertisement Manager: Fundraising (Grade 16) (If you have already applied for this post, you do not need to reapply) Advancement and Communication The Advancement and Communication Department invites suitably qualified candidates to join their team. Main Objectives The Manager: Fundraising supports the Director: Advancement and Communications in developing and implementing a comprehensive and integrated advancement and fundraising strategy to strengthen the University’s long-term financial sustainability. The role focuses on expanding and diversifying the University’s unencumbered funding base through effective donor cultivation, stakeholder engagement, and targeted fundraising initiatives, thereby supporting institutional growth, sustainability, and impact. Requirements A relevant B.A. Degree (NQF level 7) or equivalent plus approximately 7 years of relevant experience, where such experience includes: Demonstrate a track record of successful fundraising, and where initiative has been taken to enhance or build key relationships. Proven track record of securing significant funding from diverse sources. At least 3 years of management experience. Previous experience working with senior management in an organisation, where strategic implementation has been required.
