Reporting to: Operations Manager Responsibilities Site Management: Overall management of sites. Job Assessment: Assess new job requirements and ensure familiarity with all specifications. Client Interaction: Clarify job specifications and requirements with the client; obtain client sign‑off on all samples, QCPs, and manufacturing drawings. Documentation: Update all site‑specific documentation, including QCP, Project Plan, Site Requisition, and Recruitment Requisition. Health & Safety: Liaise with the Health & Safety Officer to ensure SHE requirements are met and implemented. Progress Reporting: Maintain up‑to‑date progress reports and drawing registers on site. Installation: Adhere to drawings and installation guidelines to ensure successful installations. Project Management: Follow instructions from the Project Manager; organise and control all site transport. Permits & Assessments: Arrange all required permits and risk assessments for task completion. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and control the performance of all site employees. Client Liaison: Work with the client to obtain sign‑off on all QCPs and handover documentation. Resource Planning: Plan and monitor stock levels; order and manage all on‑site requirements. Tools & Equipment: Plan, order, and control all tools and equipment on site. Certification & Documentation: Update progress certificate quantities and submit them to the Project Manager; send all site instructions to the Project Manager for evaluation within 12 hours. Delay Notification: Notify the Project Manager of any potential delays. Meetings & Record‑Keeping: Attend site meetings with the client, maintain clear records, and send minutes to the Project Manager. Administration: Ensure all relevant Documentation is completed and submitted promptly to head office. Training & Supervision: Train relevant employees to complete required tasks and supervise their work. Project Updates: Update project progress and submit it to the Project Manager. Process Improvement: Identify solutions to improve production and ensure timely project completion. Attributes Leadership & Management: Strong leadership and managerial skills. Efficiency: Drive to complete tasks efficiently. Problem‑Solving: Ability to find solutions based on requirements. Task Management: Capability to manage required tasks for successful installation. Technical Skills: Technical skills necessary to complete tasks. Resilience: Ability to handle both positive and negative criticism. Staff Motivation: Ability to motivate and discipline all on‑site staff. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with various fencing materials and installation techniques. Physical Endurance: Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. Competency Requirements Experience: 3‑5 years of hands‑on and technical installation experience, with the ability to read and understand drawings. Project Completion: Proven ability to drive jobs to completion. Licence: Valid driver’s licence. Levels Of Authority Personnel Management: Manage all site personnel. Measurable Outputs Communication: Provide feedback and status updates via email and telephone. Project Completion: Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Staff Development: Foster the growth of individuals under your authority. Reporting Mechanisms & Frequencies Progress Reporting: Report back to the Project Manager on all project commitments and milestones. Stock Management: Update material and tool stock sheets monthly. Certificates & Timesheets: Submit progress certificate quantities monthly and/or upon job completion; ensure staff time‑sheets are signed off and submitted on time weekly.
