The Process Engineer will be responsible for analysing, designing, and optimising manufacturing and production processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, troubleshoot operational issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Process Design and Improvement Develop, document, and optimise manufacturing processes Identify and implement Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to eliminate waste and improve productivity Optimise processes for repeatability, reliability, and compliance with military specifications (MIL-SPEC, MIL-STD) Data Analysis and Problem Solving Collect and analyse process performance data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for process deviations Project Management Lead or participate in process improvement and cost-reduction projects Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and production teams to ensure project success Equipment and Technology Evaluate and recommend new equipment, tools, and technology for process enhancement Oversee process commissioning, testing, and validation Compliance and Safety Ensure processes meet health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Maintain documentation for ISO, quality, and safety audits Production Support Provide technical support to production teams for process-related issues Lead process trials and contribute to FAI and production readiness reviews Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) Reduction of process cycle time and operational waste Improvement in overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Cost savings through process optimisation Compliance with quality and safety standards Qualifications Green Belt or Black Belt Six Sigma Certification Experience in statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools (FMEA, 5-Why, Pareto analysis) Familiarity with automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 technologies Ability to train operators and colleagues in process best practices Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing or process engineering (industry-specific experience preferred) Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies Proficient in CAD software, ERP/MRP systems, and process simulation tools Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
