Minimum Requirements Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification. Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the mining, EPCM, construction, or heavy industrial environment. Experience working on mining infrastructure, plant, underground, or construction projects. Strong understanding of contracts, cost control, procurement processes, and project commercial management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CCS Candy, BuildSmart, or similar quantity surveying software. Knowledge of NEC, FIDIC, GCC, or JBCC contract forms. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced mining environment. Roles and Responsibilities: Cost Control & Estimation Prepare project estimates, budgets, and cost reports. Monitor project expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities. Contract Administration Manage contracts, variations, claims, and payment certificates. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements. Procurement & Commercial Support Assist with tender evaluations and procurement processes. Review quotations and support supplier and subcontractor negotiations. Stakeholder Coordination Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers. Provide regular commercial and project progress updates. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with mining, safety, and contractual standards. Identify commercial risks and assist with mitigation strategies.
