Purpose of Role Our client is looking for an experienced Data & Reporting Analyst who can join and support their business teams to drive improvements through data analysis and provide data and reporting to key internal stakeholders and customers. This is a key role which will be fundamental to driving service improvements, building confidence and quality in our reporting and supporting the business objectives around data quality, validation and dynamic provision of customer insights. The scope for improvement and development is large as the organisation is commencing a significant period of growth and change. The Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting multiple functions within the organisation to operate more efficiently, achieve their objectives and support the organisation to make informed decisions based on quality data. Duties & Responsibilities Joining their projects, programmes and installations team, you will be responsible for building, analysing and leveraging available data to validate, monitor and improve delivery and customer satisfaction throughout the organisation and operational teams. Your day to day role will consist of the following responsibilities, however the client is entering a period of organisational change and flexibility will be required to support the business and the team to achieve its goals and effectively support our customers. Data Quality and Integrity Validation of data from multiple data sources to ensure accuracy Collation and co-ordination of data sources to enable data insights Collation and provision of datasets to internal stakeholders for the creation of reports and analysis Engagement in projects and with teams augmenting data quality and availability of data to ensure all quality criteria and requirements are met Provision of Reporting Design and provision of a suite of reports for internal key stakeholders on a daily, weekly and monthly basis Review, standardisation, creation and provision of internal stakeholders reporting, supporting the projects, programmes and installations team in the provision of service, SLA and KPI reporting to internal stakeholders Supporting internal teams to build their data insights and analytics - enabling the leveraging of information, data and self-service opportunities throughout the Organisation Provision of ad hoc reporting as required Continuous Improvement and Data Insights Engagement with projects and identification of opportunities to deliver additional benefits, insight, quality and engagement from data Identification of trends and issues and engagement with relevant teams to drive forward changes and improvements Subject matter expert with regards to data sources and content – supporting business improvement and change Identification of industry and functional changes and trends to improve and leverage our managed service offering through dashboards, data insights etc. Analyse and present data to internal stakeholders via reporting and KPI reviews Use KPI data and internal stakeholder feedback to identify trends and areas of opportunity for improvement Working as part of our team Work with members of our operations teams to support their data identification and analysis requirements Leverage your knowledge of the organisations federated data to support the team to utilise this data to drive service, financial and organisational improvements Understand and engage in all associated all installation and project management processes to provide and leverage data insights Skills & Abilities About you… You will be an enthusiastic, energetic individual with a real passion for leveraging data to drive organisational and service improvements. You will be a detail orientated individual who has experience of interpreting requirements and combining and analysing data from multiple sources to deliver reporting and insight. You understand the value of data and you put accuracy, quality and customer service at the heart of everything that you do. We are looking for someone that: Has strong data validation and analytical skills and is able to identify, co-ordinate and build simple and complex data sets Has good written and verbal communication skills, and is able to analyse and present complicated data in an effective, clear and concise way Is detail oriented and able to analyse and integrate information and data coming from different sources Demonstrable experience in the manipulation and processing of a variety of large and/or complex datasets Is able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast pace environment Experience in data gathering, validation and analytics Proven record of leveraging data to provide business insights Experience in gathering, analysing and responding to customer requirements and problem statements Extensive experience working with data sources, software solutions and tools including Jira; Salesforce; ServiceNow; PowerBI; Zabbix; Excel etc. It would be nice to also have: An understanding of Networks, specifically Wifi and Wired internet solutions Qualifications Required Excel – Advanced user Location Cape Town CBD Data Privacy Notice The personal information you provide during the application and recruitment process will be used solely for recruitment purposes, in accordance with our data protection policies.
