Job Description Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, payroll processing and reconciliations Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, journals, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses Manage cash flow forecasting, accounts payable and accounts receivable Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process and support strategic financial planning Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (VAT, UIF, EMP201, SARS submissions) Prepare annual financial statements and act as the primary liaison with external auditors Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation calculations Oversee grant financial management, donor reporting, and compliance with funding requirements Implement and maintain robust internal controls and governance frameworks Manage and mentor the finance and administration team Prepare regular financial reports for senior management and Board review Skills & Experience Minimum 5 years experience in financial management, with at least 2 years in a senior role Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and South African tax and non-profit legislation Experience coordinating annual audits and working with external auditors Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g. Sage, Business Central) and strong Excel skills High attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and the ability to work autonomously Experience within the non-profit or donor-funded environment Proven people management experience Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Professional accounting qualification (advantageous) #J-18808-Ljbffr
