REPORTING TO: DATA ANALYTICS & INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGER JOB OBJECTIVE The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of Business Intelligence solutions across the organisation. The role will focus on designing and developing dashboards, reports, data models, and automated reporting processes to support operational and strategic business requirements. The Business Intelligence Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across finance, sales, marketing, operations, and management to deliver accurate, reliable, and actionable reporting solutions. The role will also support data integration, data warehousing, and reporting optimisation initiatives to improve accessibility, visibility, and overall data quality within the business. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, maintain, and support Power BI dashboards, reports, and ETL Tools. Write, optimise, and maintain SQL SSIS, SSAS packages and datasets. Assist with the development and maintenance of SSIS packages and ETL processes. Develop and maintain data models and reporting structures for business reporting requirements. Support data integration processes between ERP, operational, and third‑party systems. Analyse and troubleshoot reporting, data, and system‑related issues. Assist with data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading processes. Work with stakeholders to gather reporting and business intelligence requirements. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting platforms. Document BI solutions, data models, reporting processes, and technical developments. Support reporting automation and process improvement initiatives. Perform any other ad hoc duties as and when required. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Matric is essential. Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Informatics, Finance, Mathematics, or equivalent is essential. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar technical systems, ERP or BI role. ERP Experience is essential, including Sage Intacct or other cloud ERP systems. Experience in SQL, SSIS, SSAS, DAX, Python, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI. Experience with systems integrations, APIs, automation, or workflow development would be advantageous. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to develop practical business solutions. Commercially astute with general knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, processes, and information flow. A self‑starter who is motivated and highly driven. Demonstrated ability to manage time and priority projects to meet deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
