We are searching for an experienced Regional Sales Manager - T3 Telecoms SA : Nelspruit & Limpopo at our Nelspruit facility. Job Purpose The purpose of this position is to drive revenue growth by acquiring new sites as prescribed by the National Sales Manager, seeking out profitable new customers, retaining clients, advertising, and implementing sales and marketing strategies focused on regional sales and customer relationship management within the informal channel of the organisation across the region. Key Responsibilities Identify New Business Develop and implement a customer contact plan to communicate product launches and engage potential customers in relevant sales campaigns to build new relationships. Identify business opportunities - cold calling to find new sites for Starter Pack Distribution. Operational Compliance Ensure call diary is compiled and effectively executed on a monthly basis. Ensure that effective best practice standards of merchandising are implemented and adhered to at all points of purchase channels. Ensure adherence to company policy and relevant legislation. Inventory Control Control and balance inventory. Submit weekly and monthly inventory reports. Manage all allocated inventory. Sales (Manager) Ensure achievement of regional sales, activation and connection targets. May also provide back‑office support to a sales team. Plan and execute monthly, quarterly and annual regional sales plans. Client & Customer Management Maintain your customer base on the master database. Leverage internal and external relationships to increase brand awareness and effective execution. Improve customer retention in the SPI/SPD/SPU channels. Build and maintain relationships with existing clients. Respond to enquiries in a professional and knowledgeable manner. Manage cellphone network relationships effectively. Build and sustain relationships with new clients. Resolving Customer Issues Respond to advanced issue escalations promptly and appropriately; provide managerial approvals as required. Insights and Reporting Extract and combine data to generate standard reports. Analyse weekly and monthly regional reports to identify opportunities and threats. Leadership and Direction Explain the action plan to support team members, relating it to the broader business plan and the organisation's strategy, mission and vision. Motivate people to achieve business goals. People & Performance Management Monitor team performance; allocate work and review completion, taking appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality. Contribute to formal individual performance management and appraisal. Education Matric. Sales or related qualification advantageous. Experience Informal/Main market working experience in the industry. Starter Pack or Prepaid Distribution and Sales experience. Two to three years of supervising staff. Other Requirements (If Any) Valid driver’s licence required. Willing to drive extensively.
