Store Manager (40hr) - @Home - Paarl Mall Western Cape, South Africa Job Description Responsibilities: Driving turnover to ensure achievement of targets Controlling expenses Managing stock losses to ensure shrinkage is in line with the Company standard People management, including recruitment, staff development, employee relations, performance management Executing in-store merchandising strategy and standards Ensuring customer satisfaction by implementing our customer service strategy and meeting customer demands Qualifications: A Matric certificate Minimum 5 years retail experience with at least 3 years in store leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and business management skills High flexibility and adaptability to different customers and situations Sense of urgency and ability to work independently Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills Flexible schedule to meet business needs Customer-focused mindset Financial and administrative acumen Organized, thorough, and profit-driven Risk management within the store Strategic sales planning and customer value management Competencies and Behaviours: Proactive in taking on challenges with energy and enthusiasm Effective relationship building inside and outside the organization Customer-centric approach with strong relationship management Decisive and forward-thinking Innovative with digital and technological adoption Motivational leadership to achieve organizational goals Reflective and receptive to feedback for personal growth Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and work independently with initiative and attention to detail Note: Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups as per the Employment Equity Act.
