Key Responsibilities: Assist with routine servicing and maintenance of diesel engines, tractors, and farm equipment Support diagnostics and basic fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems Carry out basic repairs under supervision Conduct inspections and report defects or potential issues Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment Ensure adherence to health and safety standards Assist with breakdowns and emergency repairs when required Accurately complete job cards and maintenance records Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (or equivalent) Basic mechanical/diesel training or certification 13 years relevant experience Basic understanding of diesel engines and mechanical systems Valid drivers license Skills & Competencies: Basic fault-finding and problem-solving ability Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision Good communication skills Physically fit and able to perform manual work Strong work ethic and reliability Attention to detail Working Conditions: Combination of outdoor and workshop-based work Exposure to noise, dust, grease, and varying weather conditions Overtime or weekend work may be required during peak periods PLEASE NOTE : Thank you for your interest in this position, we will review and be in touch if you are suitable.
