About the Role We are seeking a highly reliable, alert, and highly computer‑literate Night Monitoring Officer to monitor and oversee our facilities during night operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and smooth running of site operations after hours. The role requires strong attention to detail, technical confidence, and the ability to monitor systems, report irregularities, and respond appropriately to operational issues during the night shift. The Monitoring Officer will also provide administrative and operational support to various departments, with a strong focus on processing information, reporting, and system monitoring. This role will ensure accurate monitoring, recording, and reporting of operational activities, as well as communication of findings to relevant parties. Primary Objective To ensure continuous monitoring of site operations, systems, and security protocols during night hours while maintaining accurate reporting and immediate escalation of incidents. Key Responsibilities Patrol and monitor facility areas, entrances, and restricted zones Monitor operational systems, cameras, software platforms, and digital records Record and report incidents, hazards, and operational irregularities Review previous day’s activity and backtrack logs to identify potential risks or irregularities Maintain accurate monitoring logs and handover reports Ensure compliance with safety, security, and operational procedures Perform basic system checks, file management, and data backups Provide updates on operational activity and system status Monitor multiple factory camera systems and operational platforms Flag discrepancies, incorrect practices, theft risks, and maintenance issues Prepare monitoring feedback reports and elevate findings where requiredRespond promptly to emergencies and operational issues Maintain full vigilance throughout the shift Requirements Minimum Matric / Grade 12 Previous experience in monitoring, control room, security, or operations preferred Strong computer literacy and confidence working with multiple systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience in digital recordkeeping, reporting, and file management Strong numerical and data‑capturing skills with attention to detail Basic troubleshooting skills advantageous Ability to work independently and remain alert for long hours Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills Physically fit and reliable Ability to handle confidential information responsibly Diploma / certificate / tertiary education in related field advantageous 1–3 years’ experience in monitoring, operations, or similar role advantageous High level of integrity and professionalism What We Offer Competitive night shift remuneration Structured and professional working environment Training on company systems and monitoring procedures provided Opportunity to gain operational and technical monitoring experience How to Apply Interested candidates should submit their CV and brief cover letter to or contact . #J-18808-Ljbffr
