They will take ownership of the day-to-day financial accounting function, support statutory compliance across our entities, and help us produce the reporting that drives decisions at every level of the business. Duties include but are not limited to: Budget management for projects – Creating and monitoring the project budget Statutory Return submission – Submitting returns for entities Cost tracking – Recording expenses like Financial reporting – Preparing reports on profitability and performance Audit & Compliance – Lead financial audits and prepare working papers Billing and invoicing – Ensuring clients are billed correctly for work Variance analysis – Comparing actual costs vs. planned budget and explaining differences Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field Min 5 years of accounting experience – non negotiable Experience in project-based industries (construction, engineering, IT, consulting) Experience with consolidations Budgeting and forecasting Experience in managing team/leading people Demonstrated numeric literacy, understanding & use of data analytics is essential. Confident, agile, ambitious, and forward – thinking.
