Job Purpose Working directly with the Design & Build team both locally & internationally, alongside the Head of Design, to bring the companies vision and spaces to life. From sourcing, concpet development, mood boards and detailed presentations through to preparing technical drawings, you will be required to be creative and perform the full turnkey function. It requires style & excitement to spark creativity and an energy for fast paced deliverables. Overall Duties and Responsibilities Understand project requirements & brief Research and select project materials and products in a decisive and timely manner Assistance in space planning & test fit proposals for clients Ability to understand and formulate design concepts and present for discussion Assist with full drawing packs for construction – in Revit MEP co-ordination Create accurate schedules for purchasing Check & assist with junior design work during the Head of Design’s absence Work with 3D artists to produce realistic renders Sourcing and research of new suppliers to be used Bring new ideas into the brand, by looking at the international and industry standards Meet with South African suppliers Set and achieve deliverable deadlines and give regular updates on progress Planning of botany & styling Able and willing to travel to various project locations Requirements Experience in Revit – a minimum of 2 years experience required Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel Ability to read & interpret architectural, engineering and mechanical drawings Strong organizational skills Strong attention to detail Problem solving and creative solution skills Works well under pressure and can multi-task Good written and oral communication skills Ability to work well under minimal supervision but is also a team player Strong time management Adaptable to change Approachable, reliable and assertive Physically capable of lifting and moving objects as necessary Experience Min 3 years of experience in the Interior Design industry (preferably hospitality and or commercial space) Experience with space planning for commercial office space Look & feel presentations, space planning, construction drawings, joinery drawings, client liaison, RFI’s and schedules, sourcing & styling #J-18808-Ljbffr
