Key Responsibilities: Chemical Procurement & Inventory Control: Plan and manage chemical ordering in line with operational requirements Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking Ensure correct storage and handling in accordance with safety standards Technical Advisory: Provide expert guidance on chemical selection and application Develop and review chemical specifications Troubleshoot operational challenges related to chemical usage Train staff on the correct handling, application, and safety procedures Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations Maintain and update Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Oversee the safe storage and disposal of chemicals Conduct periodic safety audits and risk assessments Quality Assurance: Monitor chemical performance and effectiveness Conduct quality testing where required Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness Minimum Requirements: Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field 35 years relevant industry experience Strong knowledge of chemical safety, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements Experience in procurement and supplier management will be advantageous Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
