Rubber Press Operator Seniority Level: Mid Career (2 - 4 yrs exp)Type: ContractorKey Responsibilities: Operating Machinery: Setting up, adjusting, and operating molding presses or extruders. Production Duties: Loading rubber compounds, pigments, and chemicals into molds, and removing finished products. Quality Control: Inspecting parts for defects, such as flash (excess material) or improper curing. Finishing Tasks: Trimming or grinding excess rubber from molded parts. Maintenance & Safety: Performing minor machine repairs, troubleshooting, and following strict safety procedures (PPE, chemical handling). Documentation: Completing production logs, check sheets, and reporting issues to supervisors Skills and Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent.Experience: Manufacturing experience is usually preferred.Physical Ability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, drawings, or standard operating procedures (SOPs).Competencies: Attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work in hot/heavy environments
