This senior role is ideal for an accomplished engineer with deep technical expertise in antenna design or RF electronics and a passion for innovation in the defence and aerospace sectors. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, specialising in Antenna Theory or RF Electronics/Firmware 10+ years of relevant engineering experience with proven technical leadership Required Nature of Applicable Experience Recognised subject matter expert in your discipline — e.g., electromagnetic simulation, structural mechanics, embedded systems, or firmware Strong familiarity with defence and aerospace standards (MIL-STD, STANAG, IEC, ISO) Computer Literacy (Advantageous) MATLAB Python FEKO HFSS CST Similar simulation and analysis tools Technical Leadership & Design Authority Act as the design authority for your discipline, leading complex system designs and ensuring technical excellence Guide and review design activities to ensure compliance, manufacturability, and performance integrity Provide technical mentorship and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation Opportunity & Strategy Support Support opportunity evaluation, feasibility studies, and bid development Collaborate with other Chief Engineers and executive leadership to align technical strategy with company objectives Drive research, process improvement, and intellectual property generation #J-18808-Ljbffr
