About the Role The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing social media and digital marketing initiatives designed to: Build brand awareness Drive audience engagement Increase website traffic Support revenue and bed-night sales You will work closely with the Marketing and Client Services teams to ensure consistent storytelling and strong digital performance across the client portfolio. Key Responsibilities Social Media & Digital Strategy Develop and execute social media and digital marketing campaigns aligned with client objectives. Plan content calendars with clear goals, audiences, and timelines. Align campaigns with promotions, seasonal offers, and business initiatives. Content Creation & Management Create engaging text, image, and video content across platforms including: Instagram Facebook LinkedIn Emerging digital platforms Curate content that resonates with diverse hospitality audiences. Maintain brand tone, visual consistency, and storytelling standards. Digital Marketing & Performance Manage digital advertising campaigns including: Meta Ads Google Ads Display & search marketing Support SEO initiatives including keyword and image optimisation. Monitor campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations. Email Marketing & Communication Create online newsletters and promotional email campaigns. Coordinate content distribution across digital channels. Monitor engagement and optimise campaign performance. Analytics & Reporting Track social media and website performance metrics. Compile monthly reports with insights on engagement, growth, and campaign effectiveness. Monitor online reviews, feedback, and community sentiment. Collaboration & Client Support Work closely with Sales, OTA, Reservations, and Marketing teams on integrated campaigns. Build relationships with key industry partners including Booking.com, Expedia, and NightsBridge. Maintain organised client work boards and digital workflows. Travel to new and existing clients when required. What We're Looking For Strong understanding of hospitality and travel marketing. Excellent copywriting and content creation skills. Experience managing paid digital marketing campaigns. Knowledge of SEO principles and analytics reporting. Highly organised with strong attention to detail. A proactive, solutions-driven mindset. Valid driver's licence and own transport. Valid passport and willingness to travel. Must live within a 20km radius of Durbanville. Must have the right to work in South Africa. Why This Role?
