We are seeking a Data Architect to play a key role in shaping and delivering high-quality data solutions for our clients. This role is well suited to an experienced data professional who is highly skilled in data modelling, enjoys solving complex problems, and is motivated to grow into a senior leadership position within a consulting environment. The Role: As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing robust, scalable data architectures and guiding teams through the successful delivery of data solutions. You will work closely with clients to translate business requirements into well-structured data models and architectures that support long-term analytical and reporting needs. Key Responsibilities: Design and oversee enterprise-grade data architectures, with a strong emphasis on conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling Define and apply best-practice data modelling approaches for data warehouses and analytical platforms (e.g. Kimball methodologies, medallion-style architectures) Architect modern data platforms, including data warehouses, data lakes, and cloud-native solutions (Azure / Microsoft Fabric) Work closely with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into clear, well-structured data models and technical designs Provide architectural guidance and technical direction to delivery teams, supporting high-quality and scalable implementations Contribute to solution design, scoping, and technical input into proposals and estimations Help evolve Open Box’s data architecture standards, patterns, and best practices Must Have’s: Deep expertise in Data Warehousing (Kimball Methodology) and Data Lake (Medallion Architecture) principles and implementation. Proven experience designing data warehouse and analytical data models for complex business environments Solid understanding of modern data architecture principles and patterns Proficiency in designing and implementing complex data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes. Experience working in client-facing or consulting-style environments Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Experience with cloud-based data platforms, particularly Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric Exposure to data governance, master data, or enterprise data management concepts Experience mentoring or guiding other data professionals Personal Traits: Friendly and humble Conscientious Empathetic and self-aware Considerate Self-motivated Strong work ethic Sound decision-making ability Team player #J-18808-Ljbffr
