A dynamic, innovative, and customer-centric individual is required to join a Maintenance team based in Epping Industrial. About the Role To oversee and support the maintenance team to ensure that all equipment, utilities, and facilities operate efficiently throughout their lifecycle through effective maintenance and optimization. The role also supports production in achieving output and quality targets. Qualifications Minimum 5 years’ maintenance experience Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge Trade Test certification Experience within a food manufacturing environment Responsibilities Comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, allergen control, housekeeping, and pest control standards Ensure all legal and safety inspections are completed Ensure all maintenance contractors comply with required food safety standards and policies Participate in personal hygiene checks Oversee allocation of job cards and resources Manage artisans’ workloads and ensure work is completed to standard Analyse issues impacting productivity and implement solutions Ensure feedback and job cards are accurately completed on the CMMS system Assist with first-line maintenance documentation and manuals Escalate issues to the Maintenance Manager where necessary Conduct root cause analysis on scheduling challenges and incomplete work Assist with stock control and spare parts management Support planning and scheduling of cleaning with the hygiene/technical department Conduct inspections on completed jobs and assigned areas Provide hands‑on support to artisans where required Ensure maintenance strategies and tactics are adhered to Take responsibility for day‑to‑day team output and performance Ensure fair and effective workload allocation Provide backup and operational support to the Maintenance Manager Uphold company values and maintain a high standard of performance Required Skills Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge Trade Test certification Preferred Skills Experience within a food manufacturing environment Equal Opportunity Statement We are committed to diversity and inclusivity. #J-18808-Ljbffr
